Bluetooth is a one of the modern wireless technologies used for short-range radio communication between various electronic devices, such as cell phones, computers, cars, headsets, digital cameras, and various other equipment. The craze for Bluetooth among lovers of modern gadgets is due to its cost efficiency in short-range communication. It also avoids the cumbersome cable connections used for transferring data between electronic devices, which were inevitable in the recent past.
Unlike the infra red signals, Bluetooth uses radio signals that are good for all directions. This makes the technology superior to the previous modes of short-range wireless data transmission. Yet another enchanting feature of the Bluetooth technology is that it can be transmitted through walls and various other obstacles. Bluetooth radio signals avoid interference from other signals by hopping to new channels during transmission or reception of data. This robustness and secured sharing of data has made it the most preferred technology for sort-range wireless communications.
